Former Manager:

Your problem is you think too much.

Me:

It’s a feature, not a flaw.

I have a curious and creative mind. I use it to collaborate with product teams to create thoughtful digital user experiences to meet the demands of brands and to serve the needs of their customers.

I’m grateful to have worked for much better managers since the exchange above. I’m fortunate they saw the potential of my talents and positioned them to take our client work to new heights.

If you’re looking for a creative director who’s thoughtful, empathetic, and detail oriented, I — think — we should talk.

If my design approach were a hairstyle, it’d be an 80s mullet.

Business in the front, party in the back.

Just like the sublime 80s hairstyle, my design approach is the best of both worlds. On the business side I work to gather requirements, define objectives, and create component libraries and UI style guides to ensure an orderly intuitive customer experience. On the party side I push boundaries, challenge conventions, and dislodge entrenched thinking to forge new perspectives and overcome challenges with new solutions.

My design approach brings the perfect balance between time and budget, art and technology, users and business, and innovation and norms to deliver the best possible solution to meet the goal.
